at ncsu, a lot of the sororities cant really be "tiered" considering that they all have their pros and cons (which weigh out each other relatively well) and have mixes of girls. but generally, this is how it went:
top: zeta tau alpha, delta gamma (both had mixes of cool/hot girls and weird/not as hot girls, but the good ones outweighed the not as good ones. usually top every year)
lower top: sigma kappa, chi omega (both super mixed, but the hot girls in these this year were very very hot. both on the come up and these are considered the "party sororities")
mid: delta zeta, adpi (delta zeta is usually higher but their pledge class this year was not as good as last year. adpi's was better than it was last year for sure, and the girls are sweet and pretty, just very boring and conservative-- if you're into that though, go for it!)
lower mid: kappa delta (nothing wrong with them, just don't stand out)
upper bottom: pi beta phi
bottom: kappa alpha theta, kappa kappa gamma
i can't tell you much about sizes, but i do know that theta gave out many snap bids, a lot of which were declined, so i'm assuming that they have the smallest. i believe that kappa kappa gamma had one of the biggest, but can't attest much to other sororities.

I can promise you all of the “upper tiers” you listed lost PNMs to some of the “middle-lower tiers” due to a rough recruitment...ranks are BS and everyone I know in every house is happy, has events planned, and is surrounded by cute, sweet girls.
