Yes! You should absolutely be already preparing for it if you want even the slightest chance of getting a bid from any sororities. Nc state sorority rush is one of the most exclusive/selective processes and if you aren’t top of the line you definitely won’t get a bid anywhere.

You will have to grind 25/8 between now and rush. Get big in the weight room, mentally tough, and you need above a 4.025 GPA to have ANY shot at Greek life at NC State. Everyone involved in Greek Life at state goes through a rigorous 14 month process of recruitment to find the organization best for them. I would suggest maybe coming in with at least 2 PhDs in some sort of medical training and a few year of military combat time before you try to step into the trenches of NC state Greek life. Under 1% of rushees gets bids on a good semester so be prepared to fail multiple times and have to stay in school for at least 12-15 years to give yourself a good shot.
