best all-around

SigEp- They are in the process of getting a new house, they have won Caldwell Cup (#1 Fraternity on campus) a lot in the past years, have some pretty decent parties, but they don't have those alpha-male types. Some cool guys but also some total weirdos. And not a lot of Greeks like them because they don't have a typical pledge process.
Phi Delt- Won Caldwell Cup, a lot of alpha-males, great brotherhood, great reputation on campus, but no cool house anymore or good parties.
Sigma Nu- Good rep on campus, in the process of building a new house (kind of small), some alpha-males, but don't throw great parties. You have the extremes of really cool guys vs. the try hards. Plus, I'm pretty sure they're about to be on Probation again so they're really not about to have a crappy year.
Pike and PKP- A lot of alpha males, great sorority relations, pretty good parties, good rep on campus, but no nice house.

Sig Ep- might be the gheyest fraternity at state.
Phi Delt- nobody knows about, dry house, every brother I see looks like a warcraft fanatic.
Sigma Nu- Colorful in both the ghey and skin tense.
Pike- Meatheads
PKP- nobody knows about

Hi I'm an alpha male in sig ep. I rushed the other all around cool fraternities sigma nu and phi delt. After I got bids to all 3 it was a tough choice bro, but then I realized sig ep has won the Caldwell Cup a lot more than anyone else and they're never on probation bro. That's all that matters bro. Only lame fraternities are on probation bro, trust me. Did I mention we're the #1 fraternity on campus bro?!

Alright I'll do you guys a favor. If you want to hang out with girls in top tier sororities (adpi, ek, dz, zta) then the only places you should even look are:\n\n\n\n\nDelta Sig, Sigma Chi, SAE, Zeta Psi\n\n\n\n\nIf you get rejected by these (which you probably will) then these are your next best bet:\n\n\n\n\nPiKA, Kappa Sig


If you don't do one of those... its not really worth the dues at state... or the embarrassment. You'll be spending your whole college career justifying why your fraternity is as cool as these when in reality the only girls you can get to look twice at you are dgs or pi phis. You may not agree and I'm DEFINITELY not saying these look the best on paper, but this is really how the top tier sororities view the fraternities and this is who they associate with, whether you like it or not.

The top tier fraternities at State are as follows: Delta Sig, Sigma Chi, Zeta Psi, SAE
Mid Tier: PIKE, Kappa Sig
Bottom: KA, Alpha Sig, Phi Delt
Irrelevant: Sigma Nu, Sig Ep, PKP, ATO, Theta Chi. Can't even think of anymore because they are so irrelevant.

Well considering the fact that the other 90% of fraternity houses are owned by the school, you cant really have parties there either. Pike is a perfect example of what happens when you have a party at a "house". You are probably in sig ep or sigma nu, so go ahead and have your sweet parties at your awesome, school owned house and let us all know how much fun it is to party with tri delt and KD, bro.

For people who are actually trying to use this website to determine which fraternities are the "best fit" for you:
1) Stop right now
2) Do some actual research on the amount of brothers a fraternity has, where there house is located, etc.

3) Having a house does certainly give a fraternity an edge over those who don't have one, there is more camaraderie among the guys in the fraternity to be living together and hanging out in one location all the time
