I heard that happened to ZTA as well

This site is full of biased reviews and self promotion, so I don't think most people give it much credibility but DG would do well to read what the consensus is about them. They've been top tier for the past several years but they are falling because of the leadership and sisterhood. A chapter can not grow and thrive if the members are mean girls who are way too full of themselves

None of you understand how this works. Because ZTA constantly has high return rates every year, the system only allows them to invite a certain number of girls back. This number is lower than the less popular sororities in the hopes that pledge classes end up similarly sized. Maybe they had to snap bid, but it's not because ZTA or DG was full of themselves and wanted to be exclusive. They had no choice.

I don't think you understand how it works. They had to snap bid because no one wanted to sign.

They gave bids to pretty much anyone that wanted one, were very unorganized especially on day one, and from everything I've heard did very poorly during formal recruitment. They're not bad girls but between the constant self ranking they do here and the apparent lack of a plan for going forward it seems like to me that they are take a while before they figure out what they are and where they're going which will hurt them as a chapter.

Don't know what the other person is talking about. Everyone was complimenting them on how they did during rush, especially since they are brand new. You can tell they worked really hard and overall they were extremely organized for their first formal recruitment. They have a solid group of girls that are determined to create a successful chapter here at state.

Lol at that top comment. KKG actually made quota, no snap bids, and preffed many girls that also preffed "top" sororities. not even in kappa but damn the hate they get on here speaks volumes, especially when it's over false rumors people are trying to spread. Oh and btw, they did drop people. I personally know a few that got dropped by them so no they didnt take everyone

Idk about the
New pc but for DZ's sake I hope it's true. That chapter has been on the skids from a recruitment standpoint for the past few years. Once a top tier currently mid of the middle.

Lol DZ chill. Y'all scraped the bottom of the barrel trying to come up with a decent PC this year. Getting the scraps and leftovers from other sororities does not constitute "showing out". Better luck next year.

Surprisingly DZ and ADPi did really well. SK did too. ZTA and DG gave snap bids and chi o has a bad pc.

Are you blind? chio's PC is hot this year. ZTA and DG gave too many snap bids to have a good sisterhood. already heard of many girls that didn't even want to be in ZTA but still got a bid

Also as a friend of DG and 1 of the sisters who dropped last semester I gotta say that while the spike in dues, making DG the most expensive, did cause a few of us to drop---it wasn't the #1 reason our sorority went from the largest to the smallest. We all know that. It's very sad because it was the best times of my first three years but what it has become is not something a lot of us want to be affiliated with.
