frats at state
by: ??What is going on with our frats and why are they so mediocre in comparison to other schools our size? Even Wake Forest has a better Greek system and they have 4,000 students total. It used to be thriving and as a student at Broughton, I always dreamed of being part of one of these brotherhoods. No the frat I'm a legacy to (Sigma Chi) isn't even recognized by the school. I thought about rushing this year and decided against it because I honestly didn't know if it was worth the money.

WHen the new Greek court gets built that should help a lot because students who want Greek life won't come here with old houses like we have on it now. I can tell you honestly there is really only 2 fraternities worth joining here now that sigma chi is kicked off. KA is good and delta sig could probably compete with any fraternity in the entire country

I love it! I just wish our campus was prettier and Hillsborough St would finish the construction so we could feel like it's a college town.

We're at State at the wrong time...Greek Village will be great,but it won't be done for years. Hillsborough St will be great, but who knows when the construction will be done. It sucks to be at State now. And our Greek life is suffering because of it.
