greek presence

I'm considering rushing a sorority this semester and was wondering how big the Greek presence of campus is? If I don't rush will I still have things to do? And do most girls stay active for all four years or is it common to drop when you get older?

I don't think you can go wrong rushing at NCSU. It's such a large school that it definitely narrows everything down and helps you find a fun group of girls that you have things in common with. It definitely opens up social opportunities beyond just hanging out with people from your dorm. I would say most people stay in for the whole time although some girls go inactive in their senior or 5th year.

I would for sure rush, it is a great way to meet people. There are still things to do outside of Greek life, but Greek life opens up so many door and opportunities that go way beyond social life and really will give you so many amazing friends.
