Let me begin. Y saying I'm not a zeta- so this isn't one of their own defending just out of loyalty. I can't debate your black balling theory. Truth is, every srat rejects rushes for a multitude of reasons- so maybe some zetas originally had hoped to go with another house, idk. What I DO know is that 1). Pretty much every objective & non affiliated person on campus knows that Zeta is top tier. 2). You'd be hard pressed to find anyone who isn't a sister in the 3 you mentioned who thinks any of those are top tier. That isn't an emotional rebuttal, that's just facts. DZ in particular has fallen out of the top for the past couple of years. That house is struggling to stay middle tier at this point.

I have some good friends in zeta who are awesome but the majority are way more into their looks and popularity than anything else. Going through rush the girls were super sweet but trying way to hard to put on a perfect front. Wish they would be less plastic hard to tell their real personalities! still top tier but for all the wrong reasons. if rankings were solely on sisterhood they would be at the bottom no doubt

A lot of the girls are pretty, yes, but they are also PETTY. After getting to know girls through rush they only seemed to like the prettier girls (i did not get dropped). They seemed to only like me because i was blonde and matched their stereotypical looks. They also could not hold an interesting conversation, where one sister even started talking about another to me. I believe some of these girls are genuine, but most are not. Would not recommend if you are looking for a group of "sisters".

Yes, some ZTAs are pretty... so are some pi phis so that doesn't mean much. Basically, ZTAs are the crazy (as in legitimately off their rocker) but pretty girls that got blackballed from ADPi DZ and EK bc their personalities. Within their fall pledge class I can count 7 girls I know of that got balled from EK or DZ bc they are so weird
