I feel like most of these ratings are from a long time ago. for the most part, housing is getting better and better because of the greek village building project. other than that, everything else is still pretty average/slightly above

Smaller ratio of Greeks at state but the schools huge which makes it seem like a lot more. The new houses are amazing and parties in general are so underrated. If fsl would f off we would be on the rise so much faster

Overall just very "average" greek life. FSL has been increasingly strict as well which isn't helping anything.

Would highly recommend Greek life. Great sense of community and always someone to hang out with. Not as competitive as this ridiculous site would make you think. All Greeks get along and are not superficial enough to really rank. There’s a place for everyone that wants to excel and have a great college experience. Also, try to find nicer new houses elsewhere.

Greek Life here is unique because parties are not why most people come to State. As a result a majority of greeks are good students with lots of interests outside of greek life. A below average college bar scene allows house parties to thrive, but the cops keep them in check more than we all would like. As the new houses come up the experience will get even better, but it's going to be up to the organizations to figure out how to continue to make it affordable (One of the best parts about Greek Life here IMO). There is a lot fo diversity in the different types of people that go greek here, allowing anyone who wants to, to find somewhere they fit.

Greek life definitely enhances the college experience. There is always something to do and someone to do it with. Helps you meet more diverse groups of people. Best part is the leadership opportunities and getting out of your comfort zone. At NCSU you can be Greek but doesn’t preclude you from having a non Greek network of friends.
