sorority rush as a sophomore transfer

I'm strongly considering transferring to NYU in the fall. Does it look bad to rush as a sophomore? I'm a legacy for Pi Phi and I can get a lot of rec letters.

Not at all! Because many NYU students don't know about the Greek community here, there are many girls who go Greek their sophomore year!

Go through rush. But don't be stupid enough to put personal info on Greekrank i.e. "I'm a legacy to Pi Phi.' "I'm a transfer student." Just keep it general. Nobody admits to being on this website.

NYU isn't Bama. Much smaller system, much smaller recruitment = easier to figure out who you are.
