by: YungCould someone talk about Fiji as a frat. Standing on campus, who they mix with, type of guys, etc..

Fiji is generally really well liked in by everyone. In by the fact that they mix with every sorority and are friends with the other fraternities, likability is something that makes them stand out.
They also have a lot of former athletes and apparently do very well for themselves in intramurals and pick-up football against other frats. Fiji houses many of NYU's varsity athletes who quit playing to party full time. Fiji is, nationally and locally, a traditional frat. And in that respect, Fiji loves to party and "dage".
They haven't always been super involved but these past few years they've really killed it. Fiji getting involved and caring about greek week was a breath of fresh air (and cute!). Their skit for greek week wasn't Broadway worthy like some of the sororities but it was absolutely hilarious.
And that's what Fiji is.
Funny, athletic, likable good guys who have an alcohol problem.

Hey man, definitely feel free to come to Meet the Greeks so you can check out all the fraternities. There are a lot of awesome organizations recruiting this fall (ZBT, Pike, AEPi and Zpsi have some great guys).
Shoot our rush chair or the IFC pres an email if you have any questions about us and greek life.
