hazing?
by: pnmI wanna join greek life when I come next year, is it really true about all this hazing? is it worse than other schools? I want greek life for the sisterhood and the social life (I don't need to be heavy partying and what not) but is it as bad as everyone says it is? thanks!

I know that ZTA, AEPhi, DPhiE, and APhiZ hazed last semester. I'm almost certain that AST, PiPhi, and KKG don't haze at all but AST and PiPhi do make members take tests.
I know great girls who love their sororities in each organization, but the girls in the ones that haze always mention that there's some resentment between members. These sororities like to make their social lives known, but my friends in the sororities that don't haze go out to bars or mixers with their sisters nearly every weekend.
I would suggest going for a non-hazing sorority but if you want a sorority that goes for a partying reputation (which is totally fine- you just want to make sure the sisterhood is there too), it's probably okay to rough it out at a hazing sorority. None of the hazing is super intense anymore.
