fraternity greek night

I think it's absurd that so much emphasis has been taken away from athletics over time for Greek night. This is an inter-fraternity contest. Since when did being good at painting banners become a better way to measure how fraternities stack up against each other than something like basketball? The honest fact of the matter is a lot of organizations don't compete as vigorously because they don't take things like quiz bowl as seriously as they would take a sport. I know this is NYU, but we're still fraternity MEN. Let's cut the bullsh:t and start acting like it.

This is such a heteronormative comment, it's frankly disgusting. So athletic prowess is the only way to judge "manhood"? Shame on you. I hate that there are still people who think like you in 2014.

pretty sure intelligence is far more important than physical fitness anyway. society would be much better off if everyone took academic competitions like quiz bowl more seriously than something as frivolous and corrupt as team sports.
