Y’all Greek life is not as exclusive as they make it seem on this website. It’s not a state school. Honestly no one cares and if ur a girl not in one, I can pretty much go to all parties; I did this my freshman year before I joined and so do a lot of my friends now. As for sorority parties like formals, yes those are for them and their invitees only but ur not missing much. Again, it’s nyc, these fears and orgs don’t matter as much as you’d think.

yes, just not the private mixers. Frats have parties and literally everyone comes… sometimes people that don’t even go here 😂…usually like friends visiting their other uni friends.
the only thing a non greek individual probably wouldn’t be able to come to is a more private party-mixer where the brothers of some frat might only personally invite the sisters of a specific sorority.
^^also this second piece of info is not to sound “exclusive” or mean, it’s realistic. no random person is going to be able to waltz into the personal mixers unless they really are in those orgs, but like I said earlier in the post— EVERYONE goes to the OPEN frat parties

honestly, the effort of your response is going to be undermined by people who think they can join all the greek life activities without actually being greek lol. open parties are always open to whomever wanders into the area lmaoo. But like formal, and other events aren’t open to non members and that’s the truth. That’s not exclusive or mean. if someone wants to be apart of those private and greek letter affiliated events, they need to be a member.
