Sisterhood- Advice for NMs

Just a reminder. You're part of an unprecedented new member class. You decide how close you are to your sisters. Perhaps the distance makes it harder, but it doesn't have to make things less tightly-knit. The questions about sisterhood on this site are interesting but ultimately the answers don't matter because you're the ones who decide what sisterhood means. Do the active girls seem to not be as close as you wish they were? Reach out to your pledge class and encourage virtual and in-person connections amongst yourselves. Yes, connections with older actives is definitely great and important, but remember that you're equally a part of the equation and have the opportunity to make the changes that you want to see through your membership, especially given the pandemic era that gives you such a unique experience and view of Greek life.
