Core 4 vs top 3

Doesn’t nyu just have a top 3? Im confused why people keep talking about a core 4 it seems like its just zta, aephi, dphie then the rest

Yeah “core four” was started by kappa literally a few days ago i had never heard that term in my life before then. It’s just top three zeta, dphie, aephi.

core four is a term that literally doesn't exist. it really is zeta dphie aephi. that said, nyu isn't a big greek place so it's not like tiers matter that much and everyone gets a unique sense of socializing and community, so idek why people r stirring up and making stuff up about "core four" and tiers to begin with it's not true

lol core four is used at other schools to refer to the top 4 sororities but those schools have way more sororities than nyu lol. 4/7 chapters being top is silly. if you ask me.. zeta shouldn’t even be top they’re upper mid... dphie and aephi are the only tops here.

i think zta is top but that's my opinion aephi and dphie do hv more presence and r known a lot more outside of GR. like everyone saying aephi isn't as good as before has not been on actual campus life just online and it shows

Okay, first of all don't blame this on the new members. If you scroll back enough you'll see that people have been calling kappa "top tier", and talking about a core four since before the new class even matriculated. I agree kappa isn't on the same league as the other three, but let's think about the problems within our member classes instead of blaming it on the girls who barely have any clue what is going on

Guys, these are state school Greek life terms. NYU is a great place don’t get me wrong but let’s take a step back plz. Saying “core four” at NYU is describing like half of all Greek life so the term loses its significance and meaning. Relax
