PNMS: THE ACTUAL CORE 4

LISTEN UP: I have been at NYU for 4 years, I have attended all parties and formals: I AM NOT IN GREEK LIFE. Just quite involved.
Here are the core 4- deeph, aephi, zta, piphi

These are the girls every frat mixes with and invites to parties. I don’t know when kappa got up here but usually they aren’t AS present at these things, maybe that’s changing but based on the ‘19 pledge class they are nothing like the 4 others. THIS ISNT NEGATIVE. I think they are wonderful girls, this is just my observation. Generally kappa is not associated with the three, or pi phi.

No hate, no backlash- this is what I have seen. ALL orgs party, but there are ones that party more. Kappas focus on school, philanthropy and such. The sisterhood also isn’t as well known or close as some of the others (ie DEEPH). Take what I say as you wish

I hate the term core four however have been a bit confused myself. I’m in an org at NYU and when I joined years ago, pi phi would’ve been the 4th addition if this is a real thing. Not sure how it is today but not too long ago that’s how it was

I can confidently say I’m in an org that’s not kappa or pi phi and it used to be pi phi as 4th at least when I joined so I can see why there’s confusion. Now I’m unsure cuz I’m less active but when I was, that’s how it was.

PLS DON'T DROP YOUR ORGS BASED ON THIS. it makes actives so upset to see nm's throwing in the towel when we can't have convos with you about it. IF YOU ARE IN AN ORG AND THINKING OF DROPPING REACH OUT TO AN ACTIVE YOU LIKE/TRUST AND BE HONEST WITH THEM. They can offer you perspective and this isn't recruitment so they will be completely honest and not hold back.

nah in the past pi phi was higher than kappa kappa used to be bottom. there is no core four that's true but i do think pi phi had more rep in the past

This thread is so dumb. Pi Phi is not the one creating the drama here. Honestly they don't give this site any attention b/c they don't need it to love their sisterhood. Honestly no NYU chapter needs this site. GET OFF GR and go worry about your own chapters & the relationships you can build in real life w/o tearing down the ones others are making.
