Stop with the "Core 4"- it doesn't exist
by: stopCalling sororities "core 4" is not a thing. no one cares about rankings or hierarchy. every org has different strengths and make up for things in other areas. "core 4" is not a term people use I have no idea how you new members ended up with that impression. joining an org bc you think they rank higher is stupid and unfair to the women in that org

as a girl who just rushed I think its kind of unfair that you’re blaming the girls who just rushed. We had literally no information abt sororities so we looked to greek rank and found info. If the same four sororities are always at the top of ranking lists and we dont know anything about them then were bound to assume that the lists are right

Okay but you don’t know how uneducated that makes you sound. No one in Greek life takes this site seriously. No one actually in an org ever stops to think about some arbitrary and dumb rankings on a hateful website.The term “core 4” was created by some PNM who has never experienced Greek life at NYU lol. I promise if you say that to an active they will laugh at you and then tell you the same thing

if the new member class is thinking like this bc of online school, then i just can't be affiliated. The org im in is not bad i just dont know if this environment is good for my mental health.

that's literally against the whole point of what a sorority is - going through it with an open mind is the best thing to do - which is why you were told not to come on this website in the first place.
the rankings here are literally even different from the "core four" everyone seems to be talking about, so doesn't that tell you this site is full of wrong and contradicting info??

PLS DON'T DROP YOUR ORGS BASED ON THIS. it makes actives so upset to see nm's throwing in the towel when we can't have convos with you about it. IF YOU ARE IN AN ORG AND THINKING OF DROPPING REACH OUT TO AN ACTIVE YOU LIKE/TRUST AND BE HONEST WITH THEM. They can offer you perspective and this isn't recruitment so they will be completely honest and not hold back.
