why is there so much low tier slander
by: pnmcan someone explain why dg and ast get so much slander? what is it that makes them deserving of this hate? they seem like nice and genuine girls

there is such a spectrum of girls in all the orgs. if we are talking looks, there are girls in every org that range from hot to pretty. everyone pretty much rotates between the same social events or has the orgs they "mix" with the most so its not a lot of difference

yeah i agree with the "nice" thing. obviously it's cool to be nice but saying that's their only main attribute that's redeeming makes them seem unfairly bland. everyone in those orgs are so different there must be something else you can say cause just the "nice" thing gives off condescending vibes

The actual truth from someone currently in greek life: the mid-tiers are the ones doing all the "ranking" because no one else cares. They have to pretend someone else is beneath them to feel they are superior because they sound ridiculous when they go after the top two. Everyone in Greek life knows there are two top sororities (based off of the idea of them only taking hot & skinny wealthy girls which apparently is how we're measuring value) and everyone else is pretty much the same with a mixed bag.

Yep. Truthfully it’s really only dg and kappa (don’t deny it girls you can tell from your own pages) and not even throwing shade, it’s just pretty obvious but whatever. I don’t think pi phi cares either tbh.

I agree with OP. It may not seem like it, but the fact that DG and AST are almost never brought up at all when discussing the merits of groups is in and of itself a bit of a diss. I mean, saying they're not part of the upper tier competition kind of implies that they aren't worthy or on the same level to be considered competition. It's low key shaming. It also kinda shames when ppl make lists of attributes for the groups and have paragraphs to say about all of the groups but basically the bottom two all that is said is that they're "nice". Ignoring them in discussions of the rankings is worse in some ways.
