do tiers really matter??

does anyone on campus actually care about tiers?? a few of my friends and i ended up in the same org and all like it, but all this talk already of some orgs being so much better than the rest really gets to you...
kinda in the same vein, i don't understand why looks have to matter so much—guess that's just our society but i wish we could celebrate each org for their character, not appearance

Tiers don’t matter at NYU, like at all, and it truly is only a few people who come on here because they are insecure. If you and your friends are in the same org that’s super exciting! Know that because of the big bid classes this year, you guys have the power to make a difference in this organization if there are things you don’t like about it. Be involved in the sorority, and in the Panhellenic and Greek communities. :)

The vast majority of NYU sorority women avoid this site like the plague because it is toxic and irrelevant. Your experience is the only one that matters. Don’t pay attention to talk of tiers on a campus with a handful of chapters. As someone else said-this is not the SEC. Every chapter has opportunities for great relationships and activities and lifetime membership. Enjoy the one you’ve been given.
