dg might not be super social by any means or at top tier parties, but they get around. ast also goes to things, just less so. most of my friends in both have things to go to most weekends whether it's greeklife or not

dg is far more social and has a stronger national rep. ast is fine if you're looking for a small clique! dg is more involved with philanthropy/panhel and has also gained popularity in the last few semesters if that matters to you. it really just depends on what you're looking for. base it off conversations in the room!

i think as the newest chapter at nyu dg is definitely going up and starting to make a name for themselves. they're getting more involved socially as well as with panhel and have a super diverse and unique sisterhood, everyone is different which makes it so fun! ast has a super nice sisterhood as well, very warm and welcoming. they're also super down to earth and normal.

I feel like AST gives me female empowerment, boss vibes and those sisters are hard-working and supportive of each other's goals and passions. DG I get the vibe that they are more laid back and genuine, they aren't the "traditional" sorority so they seem more made of quirky girls of all sorts of shapes and sizes.
