Pros and Cons (no bashing plz)
by: NewGirlI saw a post about what ppl liked about each sorority which was so great and really helpful and kind! I'm curious to see what ppl think is the strongest and weakest aspects of each org. Without bashing any of the orgs plz. When I talk weaknesses, I mostly mean like, if they have less events compared to others or if they don't have a strong alumnae network or if the girls aren't as active within the chapter, etc...

From what I saw, AEPhi seems to REALLY care about their philanthropies (not to say other orgs don't, they just really shine in this area) and are pretty friendly across all the orgs at NYU but their biggest con is their lack of diversity (let's hope they change that with this year's pledge class).

pro: great campus reputation and although they don't have a lot of chapters nationally they're well known, great with philanthropy
con: basically a copy and paste of the same girl 100 times but if you're into that

pro: strong sisterhood, actually seem to make an effort to pursue diversity rather than tokenism, low dues
con: weak alum network,

I agree, but that being said, a lot of these weaknesses can change, so hopefully sororities will improve in areas they need to this year
