please keep in mind that the actives, the rho gammas, and panhel exec are all real people who eventually hear about what's said on here regardless of if they read this site personally. we're all trying our best in the middle of a pandemic and midterms. there's no protocol in place for how sorority recruitment is supposed to work when there's a once-in-a-lifetime global health disaster going on. i'm really begging you all to be empathetic and considerate to us, and to give us the benefit of the doubt. i know this isn't ideal, and trust me when i say NO ONE wanted it to be like this, not the orgs, not panhel exec, not anyone. things are like this because decisions were made way over panhel's heads. it's okay to feel frustrated when you don't have all the information, and trust me when i say that panhel/rgs/actives are JUST as frustrated as you are. we're not intentionally keeping you in the dark for any malicious reason, a lot of times the information you're looking for hasn't even been communicated to us yet. we have to follow all of nyu's rules, npc's rules, AND all the rules of each of the 7 organization's national hqs. and sometimes we have to make last-minute changes because one little rule throws a wrench in the entire process. we're all trying to appease as many people as possible, including the people that get to decide if greek life gets to exist at nyu at all. you can be frustrated, upset, disappointed, and anxious, while still being kind to the people who are trying their best to make this process happen at all.
