part of the reason for the disorganization is because of online and how NYU forced panhel to do recruitment. this period would normally be formal recruitment and you would know for sure when you are dropped because NYU forced us to do recruitment informally we have to do COB which we’ve never done officially like this.

My rho gamma told me that not getting an invite does not mean you're dropped, and she was right. I went to 2 or 3 ast events then didnt get invited to their philanthropy then got an invitation for their game night... of course this isnt an absolute thing (for one I havent gotten an invite dphie since the first one) but my point is there is hope and to stay positive. Also remember this isnt the end and your life isnt over... theres cob, spring, next fall, etc...

coming to nyu i did not think I would join a sorority because I was not the sorority type and scared of big southern sororities cause they're crazy but I decided to join here because it was chill and not intense and I just wanna make some friends.i respect the efforts in organizing recruitment and I know its difficult, but I'm a little confused as to what they want. i did well in all of my breakout rooms, had great conversations, and whether it matters or not: I am decently attractive. 3 sororities dropped me after round robin and after doing round 1 in the other sororities, I have been dropped by every one except one. i was told that nyu is not competitive and everyone for the most part gets a bid and has options, but I might not even get a bid if this last one does not want me. my friend is in the same situation when we both have great personalties. i don't understand what I could have done wrong in a zoom meeting, but these sororities act like they are the coolest things in the world.. its an nyu sorority not alabama... but go off
