Vent about recruitment here lol
by: upset pnmAephi was definitely my top, and now that they haven’t given me an invite back to their pref night i feel upset :( I thought I clicked so well in the last round with the two actives, especially since i had already talked with one of them a few meetings before. Just upset about this, Whoever needs to vent about recruitment you’re welcome to do so in the replies

One thing I hate is tht the girls who r getting invited to all orgs r on here saying tht we’re being too emotional when in reality they’re the ones taking the places of girls who really want their spot. Keep in mind if all orgs r calling the same girls back, and they finally decide on one.... a bunch of spots r gonna open and I really this this process of pnms not ranking is ruining girls chances of getting to know potential orgs better.

after stage 1 i only got invited back to one other org which after attending a few of their events made me realize i don’t really click w them. i’ve now been dropped by this org so i have nothing left. self esteem in the gutter, like clearly there’s something wrong w me. i just don’t understand why i couldn’t be given another chance by at least 1 other org. & being told that it’s a numbers game truly doesn’t help at all. i’m just so frustrated and honestly don’t know what to do because i was really relying on joining a chapter to meet new girls and it’s the only thing that’s gotten me through this semester ,which has been so lonely and bad for my mental health ,and now even that is gone. also feel like i’ve wasted hella time going to all these events, especially during midterm season, only to be dropped. :(

omg sis i feel so hard but honestly i promise there is nothing wrong with you; you are an amazing person and these orgs are the ones missing out. don't be sad and honestly i'm in the same boat; i only have one org left and it's such a self-esteem gutter, especially since i just got to new york and literally have no friends. if you ever see this know that you are a beautiful soul and i would be so down to hang out or become friends or just talk if you want. lots of love♥️

i initially really liked dphie and zeta after round robin and was so disappointed not to be invited back! i got invited back multiple times to ast and aephi though, i’ve grown to really like both but didn’t feel like i had enough time with aephi. i missed sisterhood because i had a class at the same time and haven’t been invited to pref. would honestly be happy with either, the uncertainty is the worst tbh

forgot to mention—was invited to all of ast’s events incl pref except for sisterhood, all of aephi’s except for pref

i think after the first round of events most people I know who got multiple invites back began to decline once they decided the sororities they vibed with and the ones they were not likely to take bids from - just my experience so idk if it's fair to say ppl are taking up spots
