Invited back to events

Has anyone been invited to one/more events, not invited to the next, and then later invited back?
Cuz I'm still suspicious of the "you can be invited later" they said.

Okay so i think the reason why orgs and rho gammas are saying that you shouldn’t worry if you aren’t invited to an event and that theres still a chance to be invited to future events is because some orgs are doing two days of the same event, like 2 days of sisterhood, philanthropy, etc. These orgs arent going to be inviting the same girls to both their events that are the exact same because they want to get to know as many girls as possible and not have people sit through the same thing twice. So this is why if you get invited to one day and not another, try not to stress about it! Once you see that an org has moved onto the next type of event (i.e. sisterhood events then going to philanthropy events) THEN you can assume that youve been dropped, but otherwise im pretty sure thats how it works.

That’s not what they mean either. I think this person is asking if you get invited to round 1 but not round 2 will they still have a chance for round 3. Yes every round has multiple waves but I think they mean rounds as a whole.

Well no here’s the real reason why rho gammas say you may get invited to later events. Technically it’s more likely to get invited to later events if you weren’t invited to earlier ones as we get closer to bid day. If a chapter invites a bunch of PNMs to an event and some RSVP no because they’re becoming more selective, that org is now going to turn to girls that haven’t come to their previous events. Same with bids, if bids are getting extended and everyone who went to their pref has already said yes to other orgs, they’ll start extending bids to women who didn’t come to their last couple events. Seriously stay hopeful, because of this, lots of orgs will start making room for new women.
