multiple invites
by: confusedHonestly I am so confused. I thought everyone was getting a lot of invites back? I got 7 and most people I know did too. WTF is going on?

you don't need a sorority to make friends!! i know zoom is hard and new york can be isolating, but you will eventually find your people, especially when things get back to being in person. And you can always rush next year if you feel like being in a sorotiy is super important to you

That’s true, but you never really know. They could also like you after getting to know you, it just sounds like they didn’t get the chance to, so I wouldn’t rule them out yet if you still want to be in a sorority.

A lot of times if you don’t get a chance to talk, the sorority will invite you back Bc they want to get to know you more before making a decision! Definitely means they care more because they want to give you a chance!

i think what the original pnm meant more is that like it feels bad to only be invited by one that doesn't know you that well yet, even if they want to get to know you better, bc it means that everyone who actually does / did know you didn't think you were worth it. maybe i'm wrong but a similar thing happened to my friend and that's what she said and i felt so bad.
