this is so chaotic

by: feelbad

anyone else feel like this years recruitment was made unnecessarily long and chaotic? like i cant imagine the pnms having to clear their schedule at the drop of a hat and not know when invites are sent. stressful for orgs since its a multiple invite and bid system. some girls are gonna overwhelm themselves trying to attend anything and others will suicide bid. i would recommend pnm's keep an open mind and give everything a chance because orgs know you are being pulled in many diff directions

Hi so formal recruitment is just as stressful if not more. You wait an entire week to get your second weekend schedule only to find out you got dropped from the org you liked. This turn around time to find out if you get invited back is faster than ever. It would be long and chaotic if you attended 7 orgs events for 2 weeks but chances are you wont, and no one is telling you to, give all orgs a chance, but if you’re overwhelmed, go to a couple. It’s not that complicated. Absences also don’t risk your chances, you’ll get invited to the next event just tell your rho gamma.

hahaha PNMs don’t even have to climb 10 flights of kimmel stairs between rounds in heels. I’d call that a win. Be optimistic, this process is fun if you shift your perspective. Lots went into this planning so please don’t bash it like this.

Yeah, I rushed last year and I'm doing it again this year and this is definitely a million times more chill. Just relax, be lucky this is NYU's system, they are so much more lax than other schools. Just chill out
