they are! formal recruitment will be held in the spring, but the sororities will be doing fall informal recruitment as well!

someone deleted my comment but ill keep doing it, no point in rushing remote because you won’t be able to go to any events or have a traditional first semester experience, youll be paying dues for nothing

I wouldn’t discourage op from doing recruitment in the fall. There would 100 percent still be little events for sisterhood and stuff. Rush when you feel like you want to.

as long as nyu is in any way in-person, recruitment will also be in-person! if nyu is virtual then it'll have the be virtual, but so far there's plans for in-person:)
