Following sorority members on insta

Hi, I was wondering if it’s okay or weird to follow girls in the sororities I’m really interested in. Would following their exec make them aware of me? Is following random girls weird?

following girls in the sorority won’t help or hurt your chances!! but they do know when you are a pnm and they’re not allowed to interact as it could be seen as dirty rushing so take that as you will!!

This is just a personal opinion but I think it’s super weird. It’s a bit of a desperate move. Won’t technically hurt or help, but I know a lot of people would feel this way.

tbh i literally don't pay attention to who follows me, it's not like i stalk all the people who follow me to check if they're a pnm. maybe this is a weird flex but i get a lot of ig notifications so i don't really bother checking every person who follows me/likes my posts, it's only weird if you make it weird lol

most people i know do not really have an opinion, besides being flattered you are interested in their org/them. it will not change your chances of getting into an org tho
