This is my take, people will agree/disagree but this is a general overview. Don’t let Greek rank tell you where you fit in, though.
DPHIE
DPhiE has been known for their attractive and wild girls at NYU. They have unique personalities and to outsiders these girls are quirky and outgoing. As their organization’s Alpha chapter, DPhiE has been a relevant house at NYU for a long time. They mix exclusively with top-tier off campus fraternities.
KKG
Kappas are very down-to-earth and genuine with many attractive girls in each pledge class. They are probably the most diverse of the top sororities and have a notably strong sisterhood, but there’s a big difference between the fun girls and the quiet girls. They mix with a wide range of Columbia and NYU fraternities.
ZETA
ZTAs at NYU are known for their extremely fun, charismatic, and bubbly personality types. These girls are beautiful but even more so they are outgoing and always open to conversation and having a good time. Many fraternities are good friends with Zetas. They mix with top-tier fraternities.
AEPhi
AEPhi at NYU has been long known for essentially only recruiting JAPs. It isn’t a surprise that they have some of the prettiest girls in their house, but this is also at the expense of growing a reputation for having stuck up/less outgoing girls. They are very involved in NYDM. They mix exclusively with AEPi.
DG
DG at NYU is starting to be known as the most “middle” house. They have worked really hard to come up from bottom but are also far from the top. Their recent pledge classes are very social. They prioritize philanthropy efforts and host fun invite events. They mix with mid tier fraternities.
PI PHI
Pi Phi has a very wide variety of girls in terms of looks and personalities. They are kind and humble and pride themselves on being very involved in Greek Week. They mix with mid to low tier fraternities.
AST
AST is known for having a small house with a lot of non-stereotypical girls. These girls are very friendly and loyal to their sisters and their sorority. They have a good relationship with low tiered fraternities.
