this is like the fifth or sixth question you’ve asked on greekrank about parties or sisterhood. you’re not going to get a real answer unless you go out and meet the girls directly or even follow the individual members on social media to get the general vibe. but posting on an anonymous site isn’t going to help you make the right decision about where you belong :)

kappa is definitely a more sisterhood-oriented sorority that has a really prominent group of partiers at the helm. there are definitely a lot of people in it who don't party, since you only see the same few people out all the time, but it feels like between the partiers and non-partiers they're all really into the sisterhood and really like each other as people.

tbh i feel like it's the opposite for most girls in kappa. the girls who have legacy and joined for the name are the ones that ended up not getting super involved, and most of the girls who are really "into it" are in it for sisterhood and stuff. a lot of the perceived "entitlement" is because pnms talk about kappa's national ranking during recruitment, and that reputation sticks even though it isnt true at nyu.
