spring recruitment- ast

I'm a freshman who missed out on formal rush. I heard AST is doing spring recruitment but do they really drop people based on GPA? i didn't do so well my first semester but i heard their cut line is a 3.0 gpa. does this matter a lot to them or do i have a chance with a 2.6

They don’t cut you based off GPA but panell requires the min GPA to be 3.0. There’s always exceptions so don’t be afraid to ask its probs more common than you think and at the end of the day if you and the sorority hit it off it may not matter
