greek life is dead

by:

with 2 official frats left let this be an official warning to all sorority rushees:
don't pay ridiculously overpriced fees for the social life you can get by getting on one of the fb event invite lists
off campus frats host open parties all the time, mixers usually have rules and people just leave for after parties anyway, and you don't have to follow dumb rules about drinking and social media
meet literally 1 guy from the good off campus frats and you'll get your greek social life
the sisterhood is a lie all sororitys have cliques
don't let them milk you!! save your freshman pocket money for shots at durdens!

the only thing you're wrong about is that durdens no longer lets in anyone underage. it's 5 40 years olds in there partying every friday now lol

As someone who isn't in Greek life I can definitely tell you that for the most part you don't need to be in Greek life in order to be invited to frat parties. However, getting the connections in order to get those invites will be a lot harder because for the frats associate mostly with sorority girls. So you gotta REALLY try to meet the guys who will give you invites. Also, you will be excluded from things like NYDM, mixers, and Greek Games, which are all a lot of fun. Plus you won't have the community or sisterhood or connections that come from being in a sorority. So if you're just in it for the parties, don't rush. If you want something more, give rush a try.
