this website is destructive to the greek community.
by: violetThis entire site is absolutely destructive to NYU's Greek Life. If this site didn't exist and rankings weren't posted here constantly about what sororities are the hottest or who had the "worst" pledge class, the entire Panhellenic community would be so much more loving, all-encompassing, and supportive. What genuine member of the Greek community would tear down others in their community like people do on this website? a greek Life is already so tiny in NYU; we should stick together and support each other, through ups and downs. Being a member of a Greek organization is an honor in itself, no matter which organization you're in. I love this community and wish we could be stronger than rating each other on attractiveness. This whole "rating" thing seems so backwards. Being a Greek member means empowering those you interact with, especially in Panhellenic. Let's take time to consider the harm we are doing to our own community when we post these destructive ratings and rude, unnecessary comments about our fellow Greek members. Panhel/Greek life love ♥️

disagree with your comment. during rush everyone was talking about what the "top" sororities were and mentioning greek rank and to be honest i went in with preconceived notions of all the sororities because of this website when i went to rush.

To be fair, some of the comments about them have been excessively cruel. Don't get me wrong, I'm in another org and agree they are 100000% bottom house, but they are real people and mean words can really hurt. I don't think it's too hard to ask for respectful comments on here (you can be respectful while still being honest)
