is it normal for girls to rush twice?

Is it better or worse to drop and try again if I get cut from a sorority I want?
I'm most interested in pi phi and kappa
Like would that work or no
#1by: maybe

it's just really awkward for everyone. i suggest not to do it. as bad as it sounds, it's safe to say you were cut for a reason?
my personal experience: i didn't really try that hard to stand out when i rushed sophomore fall, got cut from all the top chapters, but i didn't drop and "try again" lol no. i found sisterhood in my chapter and now i really like it. you can find your people wherever you end up in

you could, but i don't think you should. you shouldn't really go into rush just wanting one or two chapters. the whole point is to go in with an open mind. dropping and going again till you get the one you want might give girls the impression that you aren't joining greek life for the right reasons and they might not give you a bid. also why voluntarily go through all this again

Yeah everyone will know you dropped out but if you want to go to those two, just befriend the girls during the year and rush again next year( they might have spring rush so you could also do that) don't join one because you feel you have to. Recruitment weekend don't even give you a good sense of how these girls are really like, I would say just drop and spend a year getting to know girls then reapply if you want to.
