how important are legacies?

how seriously do nyu sororities take legacies?
like are you guaranteed a spot if you are one and also will other sororities drop you if you're a legacy for a different sorority?

it's definitely nowhere near as serious as it is in the south but it'll definitely give you a better shot at getting in the more traditional sororities like Pi Pi kkg and ZTA

If they like you and you're a legacy, they'll use that to make sure they get you

If they don't like you though, it won't matter

at this point if you're a legacy and being invited back to the sorority you're a legacy for, you're basically guaranteed a bid - maybe not for dphie or aephi, but the others yes
