athlete rushing, schedule conflict

Hi if I'm on a NYU sports team and we happen to be traveling both weekend of 8th and 15th which I believe is when rush is.. is it still possible to join a sorority? If so how and if there's any other way to meet the members?

While there's a process in rush that allows girls to miss days (such as round robin) and still end up with bids, if you'll be gone BOTH weekends, it's highly unlikely you'll be able to join a sorority or at least one you want. I suggest waiting until informal and seeing who does it OR waiting until the fall. No point in signing up for rush this year when you won't be able to actually rush.

yeah unfortunately it would be difficult if you had to miss the rush weekends, but you can always try in the spring for informal recruitment :)
