beware the sorority self rankings

To all freshmen/transfers: go into rush with an open mind. The bottom tier sororities run this website because they're the only ones insecure enough to remove bad reviews and selfrank (just look at which sorority is ranked #1 on this website).

It's better to go into each of their rooms without any biases or a set mind (aka I want to go one house or nothing at all). Try to find personal connections and go with the house that makes you the most comfortable, because in the end at NYU, even the bottom houses party a lot, and it's more about who you are than what your letters are, although it is "cooler" to have some letters than others. I have a lot of friends in top houses who don't have many friends and feel like outsiders, and friends in bottom houses who are closer with their sisters and get invited to the same "exclusive" frat parties. Just don't take anything on this website seriously, I see so many girls at rush obsessing about rank and crying when top houses cut them, and NYU just isn't like southern schools where ranking is everything.
