rushing

Im going to be a freshman at nyu this fall and im from the west coast and i definitely want to rush! i understand the rush process (rounds and mutual selection and stuff) but can someone tell me if its likely to get into your top choice? how competitive is it since im not sure what its like at nyu!

I don't think this is a question anyone can really answer, it all depends on how you present yourself to each sorority and whether or not they think you fit what they're looking for. Some sororities have a certain idea in mind about the girl they want and if you' that's the sorority you want but you don't fit, they won't take you. As for competitiveness, that depends on the sorority too. Obviously the top houses will have more girls wanting them so they can be more selective with who they invite back.

Kappa Sigma is the best sorority on campus. We would love to have you check out some of our events :) Some of our brothers are very strange, but we're really nice guys all around. Give us a shot!
