what are the dues like i know they vary but whats the range and average for sororities

for sororities, usually new member fees are around $500 (+/- $150 depending on org) then regular dues around $400

new member dues typically $100-200 more than regular active dues bc nm's have to pay for initiation fees and one-time membership fees and all that. also, dues might be less if you go abroad bc you're just paying for the membership fees and such. keep in mind that not all dues are equal; one org may have higher dues bc all their social fees (date party, formal, etc) are included in their dues while another org may have lower dues but require you to buy tickets for events like date party or formal

average breakdown
new member: $500-650
active: $400-500
abroad: might be half the active dues
