informal recruitment

i wanna rush in the spring and be in a sorority but i know not all of them rush so which ones are most likely to rush in the spring? there are certain ones i am more interested in than others

Some sororitys do it...we'll see about this year. My org prob won't.

Last year only pi phi did it, because I heard their nationals increased their cap slightly. Also if some orgs don't meet quota, they also do informal spring recruitment. But it really depends on the year.

Can orgs choose not do informal even if they didn't meet their quota for formal recruitment

don't think so, nationals force them into increasing their numbers and that's the easiest way to pick the best fits

I heard that just say the quota for fall recruitment was 50, and the org only recruited 47, they can opt out of spring recruitment and not meet their quota because they don't want to find 3 more girls...
