is it better to rush as a freshman or a sophomore?

I really want to rush in the fall, but I don't know if I should wait until next year. I don't want to wish I had rushed halfway through the year, but I also don't know if it's best to get settled in first. Thoughts? And please don't say a snarky "it doesn't matter", "do what you want", etc. lol actual opinions/answers only please.

I rushed my freshman year and couldn't have been happier! It made it so much easier to adjust to being away from my friends and family because I already had a support system on campus with my sorority.

This is cliche and I'm sorry but I joined as a sophomore and i regret all the time not having been in my sorority freshman year. 3 years has simply not been enough!! It's the best time in your life, seriously.
