no one in nyu greek life has any spirit

And it sucks. I'm going here next year and I turned down other schools with awesome greek life (something I really wanted to be a part of) because I wanted to be in NYC and have access to the internships. From this website and videos I've seen online, there's no spirit like at a normal school and there are only like 5 sororitys. So dumb and such a waste because NYU is such a good school. Shame on you guys lol

then i suggest you don't go greek. If you're already having doubts and are already criticizing a really great Greek community here at NYU, then that's a negative vibe we don't want.

Being a part of Greek Life in NYC is really fun! If you don't like it, you can always drop out....But definitely register for recruitment and come try it out in the fall. It's actually really fun and exciting. And I disagree with the comment above me, it's ok to have different opinions, but until you try it out, you never really know. We have spirited, awesome girls and guys within our organizations! So come meet us and find your place here!

The sororitys have a bunch of hot and fun girls and if you want any experience vaguely resembling more traditional collee parties, I suggest you rush or at least make friends in frats/greeklife.
