Ok I'm going to be honest here--I was once a member of this sorority and left for personal reasons. These personal reasons were that a select group of girls (who were in positions of power) marred the experience for both me and others by punishing those who they did not like for doing the same things that they did every weekend. Most of these girls have already graduated or will graduate this year, and with them so will the cattiness. However, because the sorority was so new when they were literally bullying sisters, they lost many great girls for the wrong reasons. It's bad when members of other greek organizations can only name girls who are no longer in DG. The sorority is definitely on the rise, but seeing as they fell all the way to the bottom, there's literally no other way for them to go.

Hmm, okay Delta Gamma. It must be a total coincidence that today, KKG got a lot of "Bottom Tier" bad reviews, while DG got a lot of "Top Tier" good ones - all written around the same time. Clearly written by the same person in DG. Try harder next time! I'll add though that your Dream Girl contestant was cute.

Honestly DG plesantly surprised me. They're a newer group so I wasn't expecting as much but these girls are so genuine and committed to sisterhood. And pretty cute too!

Still trying to find their place as a new sorority. New pledge class is promising. I think if they just figure out what their brand is they could be better.

this year's new member class is even more unfortunate than last year's. awkward group. i also heard that their initated members voted no on half the PNMs that got bids, and weren't happy that they got the class they did. officially panhel's dumping ground!!!!!

I heard this too! The new members should be embarrassed that their "sisters" didn't want half of them.

Delta Gamma had the potential to be much more than they are right now, but unfortunately they burned bridges with many of the "fun" girls--girls that many current members still party with--to fulfill some sort of personal vendetta . They have a rep. for being a "bigger" sorority, though realistically they're pretty comparable to the mid tiers. Current leadership really does have sticks up their mutual ass, the last review was pretty accurate in characterizing them. And it's dragging down a chapter that could otherwise be more successful. The new class as well as some of the older classes more outspoken members have potential, but the combination of the leadership discouraging their ideas for positive change, as well as a lack of opportunity for participation keeps them back a lot. If given a chance they could still turn things around, tbh I feel bad for the girls who want dg to be more than a group of girls who hang out, masquerading as a sorority. Maybe next years leadership can make dg more of the sorority I wanted it to be, or at least not hinder the people who haven't given up on the sorority yet.
