It’s been a while since I joined and now that I’m graduating I thought it’d be a good idea to share a bit. I am so happy I joined DG and found my community, that being said, every experience is what you make of it. If you want to be involved you can be, if you want to just come to the anchored events, that’s okay too. DG was able to give me a place to feel happy and it gave me the ability to make friends in this hectic city. Yeah there’s always ups and downs, but from my personal experience, DG has a lot of chill friendly girls.

Let's be real, this sorority has had a rocky start. But their new president seems cool and wants to take things in a new direction. Interested to see how they change in the next year!

So i resisted posting a review for DG because I was afraid that people would immediately know who posted it and come after me but you know what, enough is enough. I'm not a DG. To a lot of people this fact is surprising because for a year, my friends and I, all of which were part of the founding class, were all over DG's social media. We were the only girls who consistently made appearances at other greek life events. We also were some of the first girls to say the hell to it and drop. Not because we didn't want to be in a sorority. Not even because we thought we were too good for the sorority. No, we dropped because sisters didn't support us when we participated in other greek events. We dropped because every little thing we said and did was judged and scrutinized, even when the leaders of the sorority were doing the same (if not worse). We dropped because many of the sisters didn't know how to deal with personal conflict and LITERALLY tried to kick us out. I don't know what's going on now, but based on the comments made the past few days, it appears they still don't know how to do that--on both sides. Y'all need to get your act together, figure out who the hell you are and what you want your reputation to be, because right now, as an outsider looking in, all I see is a high school cafeteria filled with cliques. Support each other. Get off the damn internet and deal with your problems face to face. Making it so obvious that there are problems within DG isn't gonna help your chances with Spring Rush. And boy, do you need to do well with that.

Overall a very forgettable sorority. I agree with a lot of the other posters here, when bullies get into power, it really is never a good thing. It’s awful how only a few people can change the whole dynamic of a sorority. I do feel as if some of the “leaders” are just there for the sake of appearing popular on social media and to benefit themselves. Hopefully the new leaders will be much better at managing things and bringing the sorority together.

NEW ON GREEKRANK

@everyone posting: the old leadership's reign of terror is officially over and they will all be graduated/no longer in positions of power by the end of this year! The new leadership actually seems dedicated to making significant change/removing negativity FOR GOOD, but we'll see if they actually deliver :/ #fingerscrossed

A few of the officers/leaders- but mostly a single VP, are very fake. I can into this sorority hoping it would be a judgement free zone and true sisterhood like what DG preaches, but it's not. :( theaders punish you for things that they do themselves, too. Not only is it unfair, it's bullying. I had to leave bc I felt that the girls in charge are not there for the right reasons. I feel that this one particular VP I'm talking about (who is grduating soon in 2018) is only in it for the socialite status and to make herself appear more grandiose. She would constantly brag about boys and flirt with other frat boys who are already taken/have girlfriends. That's not what a sorority is supposed to be, at least not what DG wants it to be I guess.

Honestly, some girls aren't bad, some are so weird, and they need to sort out what kind of girls they want, use better people to recruit and get new leadership. could be good but too many girls with sticks up their asses and makes me not enjoy being in a sorority.

These girls are super fun and chill! They usually get a lower rank on this site bc they aren’t the stereotype sorority girls I honestly thank god! These girls are really down to earth and always up for a good time!
