As usual, people really only join to party and they seem do a decent job at that. Most bigger names on campus are pretty involved with philanthropy so props for that. Pros and cons to everything, but I think NYU Greek life is pretty good, all things considered.

Greek life is racist. It’s also super discriminatory in all ways. It’s not as diverse and accepting as you think. Pls go find some other organizations if you don’t want to be traumatized.

If we’re being real, the main sororities that have a real social scene r in no particular order: zeta, pi phi, Aephi, and dphie. Kappa sort of keeps to themselves and dg and ast r more focused on sisterhood.

Honestly, any srat is great except for dg and ast. For frats, only one's worth joining are zeta psi, zbt, and off campus frats.

NYU greeklife is cool because people actually know each other between orgs. Everyone has friends in different orgs because greek life is relatively small. Even though NYU greeklife isn’t like state schools it’s still a lot of fun. You can party, have fun, and find your people.

ive been in a sorority here for a bit and all i can really say is “meh”. the girls r all sweet and i love my org but overall greek life here is not very active and most ppl outside dont care abt it until they wanna pu to a frat party (sororities dont rlly throw)
