Phi Kappa Sigma - ΦΚΣ Fraternity Ratings at NYU

I seriously cannot get enough of these guys. They're wild! But smart. They're gentlemanly! But not pushovers. Their new pledge class and increased presence both show real promise. It's like the Skulls have risen from the dead!

Awesome group of guys. Incredibly smart, genuine and fun to be around. Not to mention extremely attractive; definite boyfriend potential. They really know how to treat women (inside and outside the bedroom!). Really adventurous and always down for anything. I've made some of my best memories at NYU mixing with Phi Kap.

The Skulls are intellectuals with diverse interests. Most of the guys are wicked nice, a few are goofballs so things are always entertaining when mixing with them. Great to hang out with sober or otherwise. Really chill, easy going group. A+.

Really respectful and fun guys. A few rushers made uncomfortable impressions but it sounds like they didn't make the cut anyway. Love these boys!

A smaller fraternity that has been absent from a lot of inter-Greek social activities, but that is really picking up steam (or at least that's the impression I've gotten from seeing their Spring '13 rush presence). Friendly guys. A few are sort of shy, but they all exude intelligence and ambition. They're building a reputation for exclusivity, which is probably to protect their loyal brotherhood from the pitfalls of over-expansion. Middle tier, but quickly rising.

The truth about Greek life at NYU is that all the organizations are unique yet equally passionate about their letters. Greek life has been around at NYU for nearly two centuries now (since 1837) and it's considered an honor to be chosen to uphold the Greek tradition. There's no need to bash any organization because they all have different qualities that appeal to different people. Had a chance to hang out with them recently and are a good group of guys. Definitely a classy bunch who know how to treat a lady, but also have fun. They seem to be on the intellectual side and look tightly knit. Only downside is that they seem a little less involved with the campus at-large as a fraternity, but as individuals are leaders in other organizations.

Difficult to get into, but unbeatable level of brotherhood if you make it in. If you've ever seen Oceans 11, it's like that- everyone specializes in something awesome

Thank god for NORMAL frat guys at NYU!! Skulls are genuine, down to earth, and funny. Not the kind of guys you'd want to have a steamy hookup with (they're too sweet for that) but the kind you'd be okay bringing home and introducing to mom. Can mix with them without feeling creeped on.

This fraternity just appeared on campus a few years ago. They tend to be smarter than average and a little eclectic. A wide range of personalities. Some of them seem out of place at NYU, like they'd be more at home in a large Southern chapter. They have a very strong and loyal brotherhood, much to the chagrin of some other orgs on campus. If you're a sorority girl looking to hook up for the night, this is probably not your best bet. The Phi Kaps I've met are (or appear to be) gentleman.
