As Greek life at NYU has grown, so has nastiness in regards to recruitment. Girls try to put down other organizations instead of focusing on the positives of their own. Through the process of recruitment every girl gets matched with the organization that's right for her. I'm not in DPhiE, but one of my good friends from Greek life is. I always have fun hanging out with her and her sisters, and have never encountered the "catiness" people complain about.

This is a great sorority nationally, but not so strong at NYU. They're super involved, but not none for much else. They used to draw girls looking for strong nationals, but with the arrival of both KKG & ZTA, that will no longer be only their strength. Nice girls though--just not exactly super fun to party with.

Pi Phi has increased their campus presence drastically the past year. Most of the girls are super classy and a ton of fun to hang out with. We do mixers with them, and they always seem to have a good time. Pi Phi's don't publicize their social life, but they still go out and party.

Used to be an okay sorority, but the girls don't seem to have any sisterhood now. Nationals kicked out at least half of their members, so there isn't much hope for the future of AST.

PiPhi does not have a campus presence nor does anyone want to party with them, take them home for the night or to their parents.

I'm a senior in one the frats here at NYU, and it's pretty obvious to all of Greek Life that DPhiE is the best sorority. The ratings that say otherwise couldn't be further off. They're hot, fun to party with, but also very ambitious and classy girls.

These girls aren't the classiest and most of their members were kicked out this past year.
