One of the few fraternities at NYU that you know actually stands for something. They don't freely handout bids, as they only invite those to join who are intelligent (socially and academically). They don't try to be "frat" in the least which is probably why they have such a strong sense of community and brotherhood--they' re not trying to be someone they're not, and aren't attempting to impress anyone. They're just well rounded, good, fun guys.

I agree with everything said below me. For the sake of anyone going through recruitment, there is no way AST should even be ranked close to any of the other sororities on campus. It is so misleading, especially when they keep self ranking themselves. Truth is, more than half of AST was kicked out last year by nationals and all that is left is a couple of girls. They were barely able to recruit any new girls in the fall.

as much as aephi and dphie may supposedly be going "downhill", in NO WAY should AST be ranked above these two other organizations. ast is the lowest of the low. unbelievably awkward. not pretty in any way. barely existent on campus. let's face it. it was the first to go on pretty much everyone's list during rush week! if you're thinking of rushing, stay far away from ast.

excuse me lilly. but what exactly did they do to their pledges? don't make up lies just to low rank piphi. although these girls may not be the most attractive overall, they are definitely sweethearts. they're known to not be the most fun, but they definitely do party and know how to have a good time. they just do it in a classy way. piphi was not the most active chapter last semester, but i'm sure they'll come back strong this next semester. these girls truly understand the meaning of sisterhood

I've hung out with some of these women, and they've always been really nice. They're pretty big, but they seem cool.

This group is really resilient. They're slowly growing, and it seems like they're getting some good new members. I've hung out with a few of them, and they're pretty cool. I definitely have respect for them.
