Idk why they have such bad ranks. they are all genuine, nice guys. they don't have the best social life but rushed a good new pledge class and are hopefully moving up. some dudes are awkward but they are all such good guys!

As a girl, this is the only fraternity I like spending time with. Lambda Chi used to be top house but Sigma Chi is quickly taking that title. They associate with pretty much every sorority and are respectable men. You can go to their parties and feel safe that they won't hurt you, and if someone does, they will take care of the situation properly (and not sweep it under the rug).

Lost a lot of the PC17 but are doing much better this year. They used to be a consistent 2nd or 3rd tank house but dropped last year. They’ve had a reputation for partying for years, but only have a handful that still party hard anymore. Did a lot better in recruitment this year and are slowly rising back up from last year. They don’t recruit based on looks and it’s obvious from the outside that they are putting more effort into being involved. Somehow got 2nd in homecoming when their dates dropped, which is pretty cool. Their girls seem to get along really well and hang out a lot. When there’s drama, people know, because they talk about it incessantly. A good sorority to join if you’re not a “sorority” sorority girl.

People love to hate on dg but as someone not in their chapter, I don’t get it. My biggest complaint would be that they look for cookie cutter sorority girls and place a lot of value on looks during recruitment. But, I’ve never met a mean DG, they’re always super involved in Panhellenic, and get quite a few 4.0 awards. I know they have a lot of drama, especially about boys, but I appreciate that they can keep it internal and most people don’t hear about it. They struggled in recruitment this year and gave bids to people it seems like they normally wouldn’t give bids to, so I would guess they lost a lot of girls to zeta. Overall, they’re pretty great women and I enjoy my time when I’m around DG
